Only four total citations issued during this week’s Dayton, Ohio CMV enforcement

Four total truck drivers were cited during a commercial vehicle enforcement effort in western Ohio this week.

The citations were issued in and around Dayton, Ohio during targeted enforcement focused on dangerous commercial vehicle violations by the Dayton Police Department’s Traffic Services Unit.

According to the Dayton Police Department,  three of the tractor trailers that were pulled over were cited for traveling at more than 15 mph over the speed limit – a serious traffic violation. A third truck driver was cited for running a red light.

“A serious traffic violation… can result in CDL disqualification for repeat offenses,” the Dayton Police Department wrote. “Slow down, obey traffic signals, and help keep our roadways safe.”
