Troopers with the Iowa State Patrol (ISP) located multiple out-of-service violations on a semi truck and trailer that skipped a weigh station.
Last week, an ISP Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit trooper working “the evening shift” stopped a commercial truck that bypassed an open weigh station.
The vehicle underwent an inspection.
The trooper located an inoperative brake on the trailer.
Other out-of-service violations uncovered by the inspection include an inoperative air pressure gauge and a steer tire with exposed cords.
