$30 million worth of methamphetamine was seized from a tractor trailer crossing the World Trade Bridge in Laredo this week.

Us customs and Border Patrol discovered the contraband on October 12th at the World Trade Bridge in Laredo, Texas.

According to Customs and Border Patrol, a CBP officer referred an International semi truck hauling salt for a secondary inspection. The secondary inspection was conducted though a nonintrusive inspection system examination, which revealed 76 bags containing 3,395.91 pounds of alleged meth.

The contraband has an estimated value of $30,355,444. The drugs were seized and the tractor trailer driver and his truck were released.

The incident is still under investigation.
