An elderly truck driver was discovered dead on the ground outside of his rig at a rest stop in Mississippi on Thursday.
The 78-year-old driver was found on September 3rd at a rest area on Interstate 55 in Copiah County, Mississippi.
According to Magnolia State Live, a passerby spotted the driver lying on the ground on the passenger side of his rig and called for help.
Investigators believe that the driver had been dead for multiple hours before he was found and help was called.
The trucker’s identity has not been released. He was driving for JC Transport at the time of his death.
